Silke leads a young and motivated team of eight members with diverse skills and backgrounds. They are united by their curiosity and desire to improve processes. Instead of giving orders, Silke supports her team by removing obstacles, connecting ideas, and ensuring that bold ideas become practical solutions.

Outside of work? Silke has many interests, far more than she has time to pursue. That need for variety is precisely what makes consulting at a dynamic company like MbarQ such a great match.

What makes your job so unique?

“Let’s just say that if I tell people I’m an AI Translator, I almost always get blank stares.”

“And I get it. The title doesn’t really explain the job. But what I do is incredibly broad and never boring. We bridge the gap between people and AI. That could mean designing a custom AI solution, delivering hands-on training, or crafting a full strategy aligned with business goals.”

“At the heart of it, it’s all about understanding what people need and translating that into something AI can actually support.”

“Because AI still triggers a lot of reactions. Excitement, fear, even resistance. Navigating that tension is part of the job, and honestly, it’s what makes it so rewarding. You’re always learning.”

How did you end up at Bluu?

“Like all great stories. Wine and good food.”

“I was catching up with some former colleagues over dinner. At some point, the inevitable question came up — ‘So what are you doing these days?’ One of them had just joined a new company and mentioned they were hiring. I said, ‘Cool, get me a meeting.’ Two weeks later, a contract landed in my inbox.”

“That was the beginning of my journey with MbarQ and Bluu. Two and a half years in, and I’ve never looked back.”

What do you enjoy most outside of the work itself?

“The people. You don’t just know your coworkers by their job titles. You actually know who they are. You build friendships, not just working relationships.”

“That connection often extends beyond work. Bluu encourages that with afterworks and events, but a lot of it happens naturally. Someone sends a message, and suddenly, the whole group is meeting up after hours.”

Why did you become a Bluu Ambassador?

“I think it’s important to be able to say, ‘I genuinely enjoy going to work.’ For me, culture plays a huge role in that. I found that culture at MbarQ and within Bluu. It makes me happy, and I believe happiness is meant to be shared.”
