Aertssen Group’s road to AI adoption

As technological advancements continue to evolve and mature, the possibilities for innovation are limitless. Among the multitude of new technologies, Artificial Intelligence (AI) stands out as a game-changer, revolutionizing how companies interact with clients and collaborate with employees. As a leader in infrastructure, construction, transportation, and logistics, Aertssen Group has experienced this first hand. The business development team of Bluu, Nimbuz, teamed up with MbarQ, to help them adopt AI into their operations.

Built on shared values

The partnership between Bluu and Aertssen Group began five years ago, when Luk Denayer reconnected with an old friend who happened to work at Aertssen Group. Their interaction laid the groundwork for what would later become a growing collaboration. Over time, various companies within our cluster, such as The Flow, Exsertus, RMDY, and Mr. Watts, have assisted Aertssen in moving forward with their digital transformation process.

“We both value innovation and entrepreneurship, always keeping people at the heart of everything we do.”

The key to our ongoing partnership success is that both companies think alike. “Innovation and entrepreneurship are in our blood, and we always prioritize people in everything we do,” Luk points out. “New technologies are of no value without the people who know how to use them.”

Partners in AI adoption

Bringing together a wide range of expertise and skills, the partnership between Bluu and Aertssen Group quickly grew into a long-term collaboration.

“As a Microsoft-first partner, we teamed up with our innovation partner Nimbuz to strategically develop a solid AI architecture using the Microsoft stack for Aertssen Group,” Luk shares. “This central data system drives a greater synergy across Aertssen’s various business units, boosting their operational efficiency.”

Leveraging their strategic insights, Nimbuz in turn introduced MbarQ to the team to explore the potential of Generative AI for Aertssen Group. “Our ecosystem approach is really helping them make smarter and data-driven decisions, and stay ahead in the constantly transforming landscape of their industry,” Luk adds.

Gearing up for future growth with AI adoption

Recently, Nimbuz and MbarQ spearheaded an AI bootcamp and hackathon, sparking innovative ideas for GenAI applications within Aertssen Group and turning them into actionable priorities. With GenAI evolving at its current speed, Aertssen Group is poised to take their next big leap in AI adoption.

“Aertssen Group is perfectly positioned to stand out in the market even more as we move forward with concrete ideas to weave generative AI into their everyday business activities. I’m excited to see what the future of AI has in store for them,” Luk concludes.
