Meet Nathalie

Nathalie’s role is unique because it allows her to work across different teams, each with its own focus. Her work involves numerous collaborations and onboarding sessions, which have allowed her to get to know many people across the group. She believes in making a difference for people by helping them through challenges and ensuring everyone has a listening ear when needed.

“As an HR professional, I’m in a privileged position and often get invitations, which is fantastic for connecting with the teams themselves. We also have spontaneous get-togethers, like visiting a café, taking a walk in Mechelen’s city center for some fresh air, or even ending up at the local Quick in Kontich together.”

What makes your job so unique?

“I’d say a few things make my job special. First, I work across the entire cluster, which means I get to collaborate with many different teams, each with its own unique focus. Thanks to all the collaborations and onboarding sessions, I also get to know a lot of people within the group. I love chatting with everyone. Ultimately, what matters most to me is the feeling that I can make a difference. I strive to help people when they encounter problems or difficulties, and I believe everyone deserves to have someone they can turn to or a listening ear when needed. That sense of impact is what drives me.”

How did you end up at Bluu?

“It’s a bit of a funny story. I was working as a consultant at another Cronos company, and my predecessor, who also worked there, called me about an opportunity at Bluu. I was hesitant because I wasn’t sure if I even wanted to continue working in IT. Fast forward a few years, and I’m still here.”

What do you enjoy most outside of the work itself?

“The many great events. As an HR professional, I’m in a privileged position and often get invitations, which is fantastic for connecting with the teams themselves. Why did you become a Bluu Ambassador?

“I work for Bluu, so I really identify with our mission and vision. I also come from a slightly younger generation than some of my colleagues, and I think it’s great that our different perspectives come together. It allows me to view things from a different perspective and share my thoughts. Bluu truly believes in younger people.”

Your tip for future Bluu’ers?

“My ultimate tip is to discuss your ambitions, needs, and expectations openly. I strongly believe that growth and well-being are a reciprocal process between employee and employer. Both parties have a responsibility in this, and it’s essential that this dialogue can take place openly and safely. This is how you co-create an environment where you feel good and can evolve.”
