Supporting daily commuters, school children, and senior travelers with varying mobility needs, Flemish Transport company, De Lijn, tackles the significant challenge of ensuring timely and user-friendly transportation for all. In their quest to achieve this goal, RMDY’s Creative Team has stepped in to lend a helping hand.

How can you guarantee that information is accessible, clear, and user-friendly for your diverse target audience, regardless of age or disabilities? Additionally, how do you maintain consistency in design choices and style guidelines across various digital platforms while keeping these goals in mind?

Recognizing these challenges, De Lijn sought RMDY’s expertise to support their internal design team. RMDY specializes in tackling digital challenges related to mobile and web development, digital marketing, and UX/UI design. They offer staffing or coaching services and develop end-to-end solutions in-house. To address De Lijn’s challenges, RMDY leveraged the UX/UI expertise of their Creative Team and assigned one of their senior designers to collaborate with De Lijn.

The project scope encompassed two primary components: first, enhancing user interface design for bus and tram stop signage, and second, establishing a cohesive design system across various teams. By drawing upon RMDY’s extensive design expertise, De Lijn successfully reached their target audience and optimized the performance of their internal design teams.
